This type of gang die is intended to blank our precision molded
parts and to trim out internal holes or I.D. flash. It is important
to note that the I.D. flash can be at different planes than the
O.D. flash and still be trimmed. The placement of flash can be
designed into the mold in various locations so that maximum production
and highest quality is achieved. The molding of parts with a flash
webbing is of great benefit to production and it eliminates many
molding problems. This tooling is referred to as 1 or 2 or more
rows of number cavities I.D. & O.D. Progressive.
